Ok so here's my problem i have with the board. VDimm can only be set in increments of .1v , so i can use 1.5 , 1.6, 1.7 and on up. I am only trying to see how far i can take these modules and the voltage issue bothers me. They are OCZ Gold 1600 rated for 1.65 @ 1600mhz but can get them upto 1700 stable ( not very impressive ) with 1.6vdimm nas timings set at 9 9 9 24. I really dont want to use the 1.7vdimm option as this may cause damage , but it is preventing higher overclocking my RAM. I am using an i3 530 cpu.

What bothers me is i can set my i7's memory rated for 1333 w/ 7-7-7-20 @ 1.6 vdimm, but its overclockable to 1790 w/1.65vdimm and 9-9-9-28. I have personally used 9-9-9-24 @ 1750 stable. See the article below and, Please enlighten dbee. Any thoughts, ideas, criticism are welcome :)

Come on people... Nothing? No suggestions? Maybe im on the wrong forum...

I'm not sure what the question is. I find it odd that you can only change the voltage in increments of .1, but I have no solutions to offer. I would not use 1.7 for extended periods of time myself.

Sorry, I do not check this board often anymore.

Yes i find it odd myself that vdimm voltage increments are .1v . Question is basically do any other H55 board users have this ugly bios setting whether it be an ASUS board or not and could the 1.6 vdimm be holding my RAM back? I know 1.7 is way too high and i would not be comfortable using 1.7 vdimm, but it seems this is whats holding the RAM's OC back. I may just clock it up to 1.7 for a day and see how high i can get them
