Should trivia be banned?

When it comes to trivia (whether math is trivia or not, idc) its either a "omg, again..?" or "woo hoo!"

Do you think its necessary for trivia to be banned?

IMO: I don't think it should be banned but it should be played less. Only play it when you need to (when you run out of games to play). For example, don't play it in the beginning of the round, only play it when you REALLY need to, other than that don't bother asking a question.

Reasons:

*Waste of time, usually takes til 3:00 for trivia to be over with. Sometimes it takes til 2:00, that's half the round.
*It require no skills besides answering it.
*I can go on forever w/ reasons, but just wrapping it up right here.

Again, IDC if math is trivia or not!

IMO Power, trivia like math should be b&.
Trivia like history, science, etc. is ok

Trivia is used to eliminate some T's. I think trivia should be kept, but please no math.

Why do people always keep bringing up the same thing over and over again?

People should really use the search engine provided by the forums to see whether or not the topic has already been discussed, not to mention, that it was already brought up by an Advisor/Division Leader.

It won't be banned as stated previously in the other thread, but it can be monitored for once per round.

Hey, it's great you want to get your opinion out there and start discussions but please just be a bit more proactive/aware and make sure you aren't starting something which leadership have already completed and resolved.

In future, just to be on the safe side, use the drop box to present your ideas to leadership first, then they can decide if they want to take it any further.

Trivia is fun sometimes, but every round it starts to get boring. so I just say try to not play trivia unless you have to(if you ever would have to). I dont care if its still played, just do not do it as much

Trivia is alright, bugs me when though it when someone asks a capital of some country no ones ever heard of, like Ghana.

As long as the Trivia has the impression of being original, and not repetitive like "2+2" then hey, its cool.
