I've been beta testing it for two days now, and I have to say its a big step from BC2. Movement is still clunky and you still can't prone. But, the shooting and damage calculations are much better as far as the sniper rifles go. The point system makes more sense in Medal of Honor as well. If you guys liked BC2, get this game.

starting to get tired of modern era war games.
after the hype of MW2, i see no interest in paying for a game that is the same as all the other modern war games

Well at least someone had fun playing the beta.

I played it when it released for 1 hour and had nothing but trouble with plenty of rage throughout. First off, the menu's are barely functional, and after struggling to change the resolution, I moved to change some key bindings and guess what? They aren't functional yet. And when you try to get out of the menu... you can't as the back button is not functional, which made me have to force quit the game.
And as for the gameplay, it doesn't seem very different from BC2. Aside from lesser graphical quality and a slightly faster pace, it's almost the exact same. The guns fire nearly the same way and quite a few sounds are recycled (for example, the tank's guns sound exactly the same as BC2).

Now, what caused me to rage was not the fact that the game was extremely buggy (it's beta, and not even an actual open beta yet) but more so that DICE has decided to work on another game while not truly having fixed their previous monster. As much fun as BC2 is, it's far from complete and I feel ripped off as I feel like I got what should have been a beta release from BC2. Now, they're moving on to another game? Remind anyone of L4D and L4D2? At least with L4D2 there were various changes that made the game at least feel different, this is like a BC2 with jungle skins variant. Very little change in gameplay, game modes, and for the most part the engine.

I am strongly debating canceling my preorder right now as I'm far from impressed with what I've seen in both BC2 and the MoH beta. Depending on how MoH turns out when it is released, I may just boycott DICE altogether until they hire an actual QA team that knows how to put a game to a point where it's not entirely frustrating to play.

wait what ? u can't change any options in the beta ? that sucks ... . u guys should be lucky to have the beta already, my parents wont let me to order it until my exams are over. if someone could make a vid of the beta, and send me the link, i will be so happy. i need to convince my parents to play this game as it is 18+. my parents and those numbers . but yh, i am gonna buy it, just to complete my collection. ill give u my opinion on the beta as soon as i get it

Ok, well. I need to cancel my pre-order.

I DL'd it for the PS3, and I'd say for every match I managed to finish, I my console froze up twice that amount. But that's ok I guess, it's not the end game. It's a terrible beta, but not the end game.

But what is making me cancel my pre-order, is that it seems great, but then slaps me in the face all the time. Like, I fist played as a Marine, and the rifle grenade launcher was a super noob-toob and I was killing people left and right with that thing. I changed over to the...Taliban? I don't know, but when I got the AK-47 with the rifle grenade, I couldn't kill anything! Sometimes the grenade literally strikes their face and it does nothing. Huh?

Also, I was so excited in getting a shotgun, and then it turned out to be terrible. The way the game goes, is that it does not take too many well placed shots to take someone down, and the shotgun doesn't fire very fast. The shotgun is also very very random it seemed; destroying enemies like paper at varied distances, and then shooting nerf foam the next time. So, when I have obviously a not very accurate, buggy gun, facing someone with an automatic rifle, they'll win if that first shell does nothing, because I'll never manage to get to that second shell.

Ew. I was hopeful, but it sucks. That's another game this year I put hope into and got shot down.

Yea, ist not bad on PC though, hasn't frozen up or anything and I've played it for like an hour or so the last three or four days, its not bad, fairness wise its better than MW2, but I think I will end up getting black ops as well
