So I've been gone for ...about 2 weeks? My internet had died and now its back, and I've been looking around to see what I missed in TF2.
To my surprised, I was greeted by a new screen and a new mode: The training mode.

I was surprised! Was it to help all the new mac users as well as new players to TF2 on either OS?
I have to say, I'm a little jealous! For I, as well as many others, had a crash course into the world of TF2. Especially with me since I never played a multi-player FPS on the computer...ever.

So I tried it, thought it was okay. Even did the offline practice to help with my dodging and aiming. I placed it on hard, expecting to experience something close to L4D2's realism-expert mode.

...maybe its still in beta, because it was beyond too easy for me.
But when I thought about it, I exhaled. I didn't feel jealous anymore.

I knew that once someone got used to it and play an actual game they'll still get the crash-course as the rest of did. None of the battles that happen in training will never be so simple, not with real people playing behind the classes rather then AI controlled bots. [ And people who know what they are doing]

That was my reaction to the new mode, what did you guys think of it?

I tried it.
Thought it was lame.
It's nice that they added it but nothing helps like going out there and experiencing the game against real players

I wish it would have been around when I first started playing. Luckily I met a couple of people that were willing to take the time to teach me a few things. I started playing on the xbox 360 though, so it was easier with 16/24 player rooms...Before they patched the 24 person lobby glitch. :glare:
