GTA and Red Dead aren't technically RPG's. More like 3rd Person Action/Adventure games with RPG elements thrown in.

Single player I suppose would be Mass Effect but my favorite of all time would have to be, CHRONO TRIGGER!

For me, it's Mass Effect 1 & 2 -- closely followed by GTA IV. I'm sure I would have voted for Red Dead Redemption, but I haven't played the game yet. Looks amazing though.

On another note, GTA is not an RPG. It's a third-person action adventure or sandbox game.
