PROBLEM: People lying down when dying?

I didn't get that but I heard a lot of other people did. This is probably a bug of the recent update. Give it a few days, Valve will probably roll out another mini update to fix it.

Some clients were given the Russian/German animations of surrendering rather than dying due to censorship. I imagine it will be fixed for all accounts in the regions that do not have said censorship within the week or sooner.

I personally use cl_ragdoll_physics 0 and it just makes a persons body disappear after dying so it's less distracting.

Xeno doesn't that make walking shadows on that ground that are really distracting competitively.

Yeah, it's a bug mostly appearing to those who own a DVD-version of CS:S. It should be fixed soon.

Im pretty sure it also goes into affect if your steam age isnt over 18, im not 100% sure on that though.

Just to clear things up (Based on previous posts) valve WILL be fixing this, it was unintentional. In the meantime, try reastarting steam, css, or even you're cpu. Now idk if I have this problem(Vacation ) but I would be annoyed very fast!

Bloody, I believe it happens to people under 17, not 18. I'm 17 and I didn't get it, but two friends of mine who are 16 both got it, we live in the same city fairly close to each other, and all got it at around the same time and all off of steam. So thats my current theory.

mine too. i havent experienced this but it looks pretty funny in that video and screen shots. low violence but still blood all over the place
