Admin 101 Update

<div style="width: 500px; text-align: center" align="center">Those of you who have reached the eG admin level are familiar with the Admin 101 guide, the purpose of which is to provide a basic understanding of what is expected of you as an EdgeGamers admin. It is a starting point in your journey and should be followed up by taking a scheduled admin class.


The guide was put into place years ago and served the community well, but because we are an ever-changing organization, edits were needed to bring it in line with current policies. These edits have made the document easier to read and understand, focusing on the common sense all admins should have. After all, that's one of the main qualities required for a promotion.

Everyone, regardless of how long you have been a eG or eGO member, should take a few minutes to read through the new Admin 101 to become familiar with the changes. All Admin Trainers should now be teaching using these guidelines.

2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I get this error -

You may need to request access to one of the other, more relevant divisions' eG section on the forums in order to view it. The Admin School forums are not visible to normal or =(e)= ranked members, and while you have your G - your forum access doesn't involve the eG section for DoD, TF2, CS:S, INS, etc.

I would recommend heading up to "My Groups", and requesting access to the eG private forums for some of those other divisions. Once you have access (it requires approval), you should be able to see the admin school and take a look at the 101.
