So e3 has been over for a while now, and i know it's old news, but it left 2 big announcements: Motion Controls and 3D. In this threat im gonna focuss on only the fist one as it is one of the most discused themes in this e3.
Sony and Microsoft have announced their very own motion controls, the PS Move and the Kinect. The last is seen to be targeted to a more casual field since it looks to be uncapable of suporting hardcore gaes due to the lack of buttons, and to finish it all up, u have to stand up ALL the time, since the camara wont reconize you if you are in a couch or sofa. These are the one of the low points of the periferal in my eyes. I mean, cant play while you are seaten? That kills the whole purpose of gaming, which is rest:cursing::cursing:
In the other hand, Sony's Move, looks to be more like a Wii HD, with 3D support to top it out. It looks as if it were a Motion++ since it uses a track ball rather that a sensor. I know there are people conplaining about this, but Sony took the safe rout through this, and with the support of Hardcore and Casual games (which i like equally) is the best one in the market. Still i dont like having to wave my arms in order to just make my character walk 2 feet, but if i had to choose from these, i would go with the Move.
Anyway, these are my thoughts on the 2, what do you think about them.
