Not sure if home (non-manufacturers) can download it; haven't tried it yet myself.

Generally, I'd advise not to touch it until its out of beta. Never know what kind of system stability issues it could cause

Well not only that but its just a compilation of previous updates already available on Windows Update along with a few hotfixes. The final release is supposed to have RemoteFX, Dynamic Memory for Hyper-V and USB 3.0 support.
