Will review Disk Defrag tools next.
VLC is always my escape from video problems. As for defrag tools, I use windows defrag tool in command prompt as it uses very little resources and gets the job done. And for video conversion, I use AVS. Works great for me! Now I have all the Invader Zim I want on my iPhone haha.

it depends vlc seems to be the best for most on windows but for unix systems (linux or mac) mplayer wins out in most cases.

Debating on actually reviewing Ubuntu.
VLC player is what I normally use as well on Windows.
Also wondering if people would be interested in a guide on making Windows XP act/look/bahave more like Windows 7.

What this handy little tool does is clean out all the crap saved each time you play on Steam.
BE CAREFUL WITH THIS TOOL. If you don't know what something does, don't touch it.
It supports Counter Strike Source, Team Fortress 2, Garry's Mod, Day of defeat: Source, and more.
Why should you use it?
I'll tell you why. Every time you play on any server, temporary files are stored on your computer. Steam doesn't really need them, it just likes to keep them. Steam is an obsessive hoarder that refuses to attend an intervention. Left on its own, it will keep saving enough junk until it buries itself in its own clutter.
Enter the cleaner.
What I normally do is choose the game I want cleaned, tell it to clean the Game Overlay and normal crash logs (who needs those, really?), the temporary spray files (I don't need backup files of every spray I've ever seen), and sometimes I'll remove temporary downloads.
All the files go straight to the recycle bin.
If you are an admin, I advise NOT cleaning demos and screenshots.
Don't even think of touching the "Remove sounds, models, textures, maps, derp" settings. They bring pain and destruction.
Use this tool, and Steam will be a bit quicker, and your hard drive will thank you.

Most of you already know about this program, but it's one of the best, so I shall include it anyway.
It's called RocketDock. Here's a picture of it in action on my computer.
Basically, RocketDock is a fully tweakable dock menu for Windows platforms. You can set it to auto-hide so it only shows up when you hover at the very top of your screen (or whereever you set the dock to be). You can put any program you want into the dock, and lauch them with a single click. You'll notice most of my admin tools are in my dock... Ventrillo, Steam, text editor, image processors, browsers, etc.
If you want, you can set programs to minimize to the dock, although I don't use that function. The number of skins for it are amazing, and almost every program has high-quality icons you can download for the dock to use. (Seen with my browser and Steam icons, among some others.)
