I joined on my own, a long time ago. It was for a few specific reasons though:

My net at the time sucked worse than it does now (and that's saying something) and eGO tf2 servers were some of the only ones I could find that didn't automatically kick you if you went over a certain ping (like 100 or 200).

Second reason: Convoy. I fell in love with that server/map, and I played it for a loooong time. That's how I found eGO and that's still my favorite tf2 map.

i was in another clan but some of your guys frequented our servers as well and on slow days i went to your servers a lot then later i played tf2 like it was my religion and found your servers one day and black mesa and loved teh map plus was kind of impressed by the fact you guys had sponsors

Played on INS Dust2 server for awhile, buddy'd up with Gunney and i was convinced to join lol

I found Edgegamers when I was surfing around tf2 servers shortly after launch and joined the WARPATH! Server enjoyed it so much I started playing on the clan other clan servers. 2-3years later I was recruited by Blindy =O.

I was 13 when i first joined, i remember playing on arena badlands since i loved that mode/map and i saw the free admin thing and i thought i would give it a try, im glad i did, i love it!
