I think this is a good move. I think it would help bring in new members and increase popularity in some less known mods.

I've been playing INS for months now. To see my beautiful Insurgency tag not under my name...
But for the sake of our division, we need to do this. Dust2, our top server, 2 months ago was full 24/7. Today, it was entry in the morning.
We've branched into exploring other mods - RNL, and FAS. if we want to continue as a division, were going to have to keep up with the demand.
So I support this, for the most part as of now.
We will still be running Insurgency so you can play to your preference. Honestly while the developers are taking their sweet time updating INS to source 2007 (Basically Orange Box) and making Insurgency Classic we should expand by supporting these other Mods. This basically sounds like more or so a survival move, because if INS collapses then so does the entire division, so it's rather converge then lose the whole division? In that case I say we should converge.
Insurgency is going to remain the top division. We're not losing that game. I'm not even talking about changing division tags. INS is going to be the main division. As of right now, source-mod works on RNL and FA:S, which means MAUL will work on them.
All we're looking to do is branch out a little and add extra games people play. Give more eGO's other options on games to play. The current leadership roster will stay in place as is:
DL's:
Caffeine-rx and Jedihitman will run the division.
Advisors:
Yeti - RNL
Burt_reynolds - FA:S
RT / Pimp / Drunken - INS
IceGladiator - Recruiting
As I stated earlier in a post. When the "NEW" INS comes out, we'll mod over to that version and rock it out! If the INS - Art of Revolution comes out we'll look at that version too.
