Vent looses Sound

I dont know why but at times i would be sitting looking at my desktop and loss sound. I hate it and dont know why it does this but i only loose sound when vent runs. I will never use vent until my problem is fixed.

Happens to me too. I slowed down the problem by updating all of my sound drivers, reinstalling vent, and correcting the soundcard option (it was on the microsoft soundcard by default for me).

Problem is i did that and everytime i log into vent it looses the sound once. If i load a game and the sound crashes it crashes the game.

if everything is fine but ventrilo, then you might have to go into the setup of ventrilo and see if the input output device is correct
