Hello I'm not exactly new to computers but I do not know which i should do. Should I buy a new alienware computer or just get parts and build it? which is cheaper and what parts should I get if Im to choose building

Building the computer is always the best way to go.

yes, build 1 - better quality and alot of saveings over a "box" PC .... and the right to boast "I built that"

Build your own. Everyone here will tell you the same and will be more than happy to help with any support you need. On a few occasions i have spent 6-8 straight hours while at work helping some fellow members. Everyone here is very nice and most are pretty knowledgeable.

overwhelming majority will always say to build your own. besides alienware is way overpriced & dell tech support isnt getting any better. if you can build it yourself, then def go that direction. will save ya hundreds of $$s. also let us know if we can help you w/ selecting parts for your machine; well be more than happy to give suggestions for your upcoming build (based on your price range of course).
