Anyone playing Freelancer anymore?

I just got the game again after a few years without it, man I don't remember it being as good as this. If anyone plays it lemme know, I'm mostly on 88 Flak and Discovery mod servers.

I gotta pick it up again. (Disk is freaking scratched to all heck.)

I must say, I remember playing Disco last year, and it was just awesome. The RP element is a bit thick, but its still enjoyable.

Yeah the RP element kinda gets in the way a lot, though I find it enjoyable sometimes, especially now that I run part of the Liberty Navy and can boss people around. I play on the UK server though so most of the RP to be had is "Give me money or I'll kill you"

I love Freelancer, but I don't play that much anymore. I have RL friends that are somewhat active on the 24/7 Freelancer Universe server, which has ups and downs with server glitches.

Great game though.

Don't think I've really heard about Freelancer until reading this thread, but after googling it it looks pretty cool.

Kind of reminds me of Privateer from back in the good old days. Damn I feel old.

Does it still have a decent playerbase?

Yeah the playerbase is really good on discovery mod, one of the serves has 100+ people on at one time.

Yes, I am playing Freelancer because I enjoy this game very much. Normally I am not getting much time but whenever I am am free I use to play some of my favourite games. And freelancer is one from that games.

Not anymore but it used to be a great game.
