Hey does anyone have any tips for rebelling on the jail server? it seems like every time I try i end up with a face full of lead! 0.o

-Thanks!

1. Rush when a CT is typing out trivia. Especially works at lower times/non-peak because the other CT's won't have time to shoot before you get to vents/get a gun.

2. If your planning on rushing @ 5:11 or cell opening, instead of running; try to walk. It throws CT's off so they have to ask "does so and so have ST? do they? do they?"

3. Talk to the CT's and try to make friends with a frequent warden! Not bad if you wanna trick them.

4. Try and rush when the CT's have the T's mass-move to an area (all T's walk to soccer, etc)

That guide isn't all there is to it, though. People can give tips and add a personal touch or a story to go with it.

Know the map well, if you do, you'll know where CTs tend to be positioned.

Related to that point, know where the guns are, know when you time your rebel if you're hiding in a cell..

In short, the more you play, the more things you pick up, and the easier it is to rebel.

1. Ask for special treatment
2. Get special treatment
3. Assassinate warden
4. Take the dead wardens gun
5. Shoot as many CT's as possible
6. Die
7. Riot begins
8. PROFIT??!?

Rebel at the right time. No point rushing if theres no one to actually rush. Work with your team, it only usually takes two right clicks to kill a CT. Focus on the CT's when they have their backs to you and when they're not paying attention. And if you know the map well, you'll find secret guns hidden someplaces in the map to help you rebel.

Vents. Secret guns. Armoury entrances.

Sure, you can knife a baiting ct and then pull off 2 kills or so. But in your group, chances are that you'd be taken down quite a while after that
CTs have the high ground. And if it isn't a group rebellion then it is just you against 8 cts or so. (is going to increase after jail change) . Because of this, a successful rebellion will only occur when you level out the playing field. Skill plays a part in this, but weapons and position are also quite important.

This is why you need to get to those vents, get those guns, sneak up on those cts, kill maybe 2 at a time, change spots, and then kill another 2. This sparks other t's into action and gives you the highest chance of a successful rebellion. But that's only going to happen if you get away both stealthily and speedily (before the CTs notice) , which is why, as ieye said (yes he actually does occasionally offer words of wisdom) , you need to know the map.

Of course, then there is the "rush CT" tactic which is much harder to pull off when you are playing against more alert and skilled CTs, especially with strict wardens.

1. Not guaranteed since there is usually a person watching at all times, they are just paranoid like that and will free damage on the spot if you move an inch.

2. That does work, but chances are some one new to jail will just shoot you down.

3. Good Idea :)

4. Better jail players keep their distance around the Ts making rushing out pretty hard. The lesser experienced would be easy to pick off, however.

All in all, these are good tips, but they wouldn't work so well on better players. The best tip is to adapt to who you are playing against the players you are playing against. Know which ones do what. For example, I know a few players like to search the cells on the first map when the server resets, if they are warden, I tend to not hide in the cells and wait for the CTs to move the Ts out of cell block. Sometimes I take the risk and hide in the cells and when its clear, run towards armory. It all has to do with who you are playing against, since any tip may not work for everyone against everyone.

Yeah and learn how to fail

Yep.

My tip: Only stab CTs with a shotty or assault rifle... ''ARGH SNIPER RAMPAGE ARGGGGHHH....'' It wont cut it, lol

This is my personal favorite: Get out of jail, and play some real CS:S. After you've gotten good, get a gun and kill them CT's.

A good way to get st, is to ask the warden something personal (How was your day, warden?) Then ask for st, basically you are trying to become a temp friend/favorite
