Perhaps the admins are bored...

But I was graced with some atrocious admin behavior.

Here I am, on the 24/7 Donner server, someone on my team is constantly complaining about teams, so I tell him [paraphrased] 'just let them stack, the sad thing is, we're still holding them off'.

So I am warned by an admin for "attitude". Admin then says he is looking for an excuse to kick me.

I was trying to type a reply, and for some reason it keeps claiming I am swearing. The sentence I was trying to type was roughly "Someone else on my team was complaining/whining about teams, so I just said let them stack away". Rejected for swearing? I try the word 'whine'. Works. I try 'Someone'. Works.

And then I get booted.

Just to let you know I'm severely disappointed by the juvenile behavior of that admin (check your server logs if you really need to know who). Fortunately, I'll never have to deal with them again, as I'll stop playing on eGO servers due to the actions of one person.

Have a nice New Years.

Well, just to clear up something, the word 'teams' is a swear because people constantly say it at the same time. We want to limit the spamming. If you know the name of the admin at the time, PM council about it and an investigation can take place.

That was probably me telling you to watch the attitude. I told several people last night to watch their attitudes when it came to arguing with the admins.

The teams were off set at several points during the game. Each time, there would be 3-5 remarks made from the axis team. Unfortunately, you can't hear when admins on the allied team are telling the players who just deserted your team to switch back. Spamming the server with "Team s" "teems" and "Teamz" doesn't help. I specifically replied to one statement : "ARE FINE", because in play, the teams DO balance out within minutes. Trying to micro-admin by constantly switching players back and forth not only disrupts an admin's game, but also the game of who ever is being tossed back and forth like a ping pong ball to keep the teams perfectly balanced. We had two or three players who had just joined or were in spec, that would have balanced out the teams.

Now, about the comment of looking for a reason to boot you... Again, that would be ME. The attitude on the server was argumentative, antagonistic, and disrespectful. It basically boils down to this: If you can only find faults every time you come to the server, then maybe it's not the server for you. Personally, I get tired of having to stop my game, to type and explain that a player's attitude is close to earning him a time out from the server. I remember telling a player who had been complaining several times to drop it. I also remember telling a player that I just needed one more reason to boot him/her off the server. And again, that's my bad. I shouldn't have needed a secondary reason. The moment a player starts bypassing the swear filter, AND complaining about the server, AND arguing with an admin, that player should be removed directly, with zero tolerance.

When I went to kick you, I believe you were already off of the server, since I couldn't find the player name on my list. And yes, I was in the act of trying to remove you from the game when you left.

If you have any questions about the rules of the server, they were listed when you entered into the server to play. Arguing with the admins, being disrespectful to the eGO's in game, and bypassing the swear filter/attempting to bypass the swear filter are not allowed on this clan's servers.

And lastly, if you have any questions about my decisions, my actions, or my interpretation of yours, please feel free to send me a PM or an IM.

Yes I was on the server and was discussing all these problems with fluffy on vent at the time and I was one who gave you the kick.

I agree with FluffyTDestroyer on the teams leveling out after a few minutes. There aways seem to be flipping back and forth from one team or another and new people/players join. The best advice is, if there are EGOs on the servers, trust they are aware of what is going on. Friendly Admin only chat may help, but don't be a pest.

Fluffy is always pretty tolerant as far as I recall, though I haven't been in donner in a while. Plus I always say nice things about fluffy cos i'm in love with that shexy voice of hers. Usually people kick for a reason, and someone of fluffy's calibre would most likely have a good reason. I take the eGOs word first.
