Liquid Cooling

look at the Corsair H50 sealed water colling for your CPU and it works no leaks and afordable
 
My NB does get pretty hot under loads (it is Overclocked and overvolted) and thats the only reason i would want a block on it......... however the pros for a NB block dont really outweigh the cons, no matter how you look at it.

Also, the H50/H70 are hardly considered watercoolers.......... A custom CPU only water loop will cool much better than a H50/70 (which cools about the same as a high end air cooler). Dont get me wrong, the H50/70 are still good coolers, but better does exist.

An LN2 pot will perform much better than a custom water cooling loop. Don't get me wrong, custom loops are good coolers, but better does exist. :P

Okay, I'm done trolling.

The H50 is an awesome cooler imo. Performs as good as a high end air cooler, and is quieter. Of course it is not quite as good as a custom water cooling loop, but it is much cheaper and requires no maintenance.

you fill your rig up with high quality (i.e. noctua) fans and run em at medium speeds (900rpm-1200rpm) you will find your rig stays plenty cool.

perhaps what matters more than the cooling method used, is the type of computer case that you have and cable management.

If you have a mid tower case, liquid cooling is probably a horrible idea and a waste because the airflow is bad, causing ambient temps to rise substantially. Even with some full towers, liquid cooling functions just as effectively as air. Keep in mind, design often matters more than the sheer size of any given case.

Note that I have no experience with liquid cooling, but do know enough about thermodynamics.

In my honest opinion, do not bother with liquid cooling unless you are overclocking more than 10%.

Lastly, what most people do not realize is that you could spend less money to simply upgrade your core components than you could trying to install a quality liquid cooling system to overclock.

perfectly put. I priced the loop i plan (maybe, somday) on building and the cost is more than some are willing to spend on an entire PC. Only the "super-enthusiast" will find the benefit from WC.

I'd say more than 35%, because I can get a 30% OC on my CPU, and when I get my new one, I will do the same.

yeh i can get a stable ~33% overclock on my air cooled system. Just saying, most people wouldnt go past 10-15%. If they do, thats the "enthusiast" range :P
