For all the complaints that go around about Dice, they really did a nice job with this game on the whole and I think everybody in here would agree. Just get it. (Of course you must realize that you're asking a biased crowd posting in here)

Ever since BF1942 I've been a huge fan (playing every game except 2142, sadly). The games really do offer a large amount of entertainment even at the full price, so at half cost it's a great deal. Also, with BF3 coming out soon-ish, this would be a great time to jump in and get ready for the next entry in the series.

but before you buy it make sure u can run it. so go somewhere that will test what u have and see if you can run it.

It's broken because its made by DICE.
But if you have a computer that can run it, get it.
Only a few people I have talked to do not like it.

Except the knife fails!!:facewall: Even with it's faults it is still in my opinion the best FPS out at the moment. And the BC2 division are a good group!

I never played ANY of the Battlefield line but I can tell you man I grabbed Bad Company 2 a few weeks ago and I LOVE IT!!! lol Forget $30 this is one of the few games I can honestly say I would have spent up to $60 for after having played it now. 
Like check engine light said though make sure you check reqs that you can run it I had a friend buy it without checking and it's to choppy for him to play he has to go buy more RAM to play it now.

i recommend buying it, (as a fellow bc2 member) but not just because i think its awsome, this game takes alot into consideration and teamwork, the people who hate it are basically halo or modern warfare junkies who cant play anything else and so forth, This is the Best game ive ever played and isnt ARCADEY like halo or modern warfare, it blows those games out the door by far! u will not be dissapointed if u buy this game, but its still ur choice man do wat u want, i just recommend this game highly if ur lookin for a newer game to play.
Another thing about the system req. Check the site http://cyri.systemrequirementslab.com/CYRI/ This site is very useful to check if ur comp can run it, it just scans ur hardware and such and gives u a pretty good rate on how ur comp will handle it. Hope to see u in bc2!

Its also an Intense game. I love the sound effects and the sound clips for the weapons, if your computer can handle it I have no doubt you will enjoy this game. Also you can always check out the youtube videos, I think they give a pretty good idea on what to expect.
