Post your F@H stats/ F@H discussion

Each client has to be specified to each GPU with two different clients attached to the GPU. You have to make the pc think it has two monitors by connecting another or by other methods. I think it needs to be done in a certain order and thats where im screwing up.

Phobus, the difference with a PhysX card is not noticeable and not even worth it being there.

Depends on the game. Go play Mafia II with PhysX on High without a PhysX card. :P
 
Benches show to most games it does not make a difference. I tried Warhead and didn't see anything noticeable besides the fact that when the level first loads i see some pretty funky textures , kinda hard to explain. This isn't from the oc as i've tried it at default as well.

How much higher could your electric bill be? A few bucks ?

My father has bad diabetes and had a scare a couple months ago as he needed a biopsy done. Thank God everything is ok though. Every client counts bro.

Back to the subject, anybody here got an idea of where i might be screwing up ?

That's because Warhead doesn't have hardware accelerated PhysX. :closedeyes:

I'm not trolling. You won't see any performance increase in a game that doesn't have PhysX. :blink:
 
Yea i was playn about the trolling, as you usually do.

Anyways, thanks again flex. Got them all up and running correctly. Just wish i could use the FAHMON on a single machine but no big deal. Using the dummy plug VGA to DVI adapter for card 2. Easier than i thought, just needed the right guide. Appreciate it.
 
I am running a gtx 460 @ 1700mhz shader and a Q8200 @ 2.33ghz. I started folding for team EVGA two months ago and have been making quite some progress :)

My ppd fluxuates based on how much I game/render and remember to turn both clients on :P
 
Us OCN guys will pass evga any day now....


we are only about a day away from taking the #5 spot
 
Which brand 460 did you get Coresair ? Try pumping that upto 1800 shader, should be stable for folding but may be unstable for gaming/stressing. This 460 really kicks, my points keep rolling nicely... getting close to 3 million .
 
I have an EVGA gtx 460. I have had it up to 1800mhz furmark stable before! But that was with a fan blowing cool air over the vregs. The core does not get hot at all (still under 70C) But without the fan I get downclocks and shutdowns from what I assume are the (heatsinkless) vregs overheating. One of these days I am going to mount some more heatsinks and replace all the thermal paste and see if I can break 1800mhz without the fan :D

Sure do. Good luck with it bro. The Gigabyte comes with vreg sinks which is pretty sweet. Gotta tear it apart one day and check everything out, and do the paste thing . Dont care too much for it, can get pretty messy.
