Broken Mic is Broken

Well, another thing for my PC to throw at me. I got my Logitech mic about 2 weeks ago and now the mic is broke. I can hear everything just fine, its just when I go to speak it does nothing. I checked to make sure its not muted or anything and its all fine. From time to time it keeps making popping noises and I can't make a trip up to Walmart to buy another. Please help guys! Thanks

It might be that the mic isn't configured to the default mic on your computer settings. Try that.

Well, this mic has appearently died on me, since none of the ways have worked and I asked two people for help and they said to just buy a new one. Admin please close thread and thanks for the help anyways.

Well here is the deal, mics break easy! So my suggestion is to buy a 20-30 dollar mic unless your really careful and get turtle beaches. Lol but hope i can hear your voice again!
