The American dollar is in bad need of a makeover. Thanks to the Dollar ReDe$ign Project, we may now have some options.

Organized by creative strategy consultant Richard Smith, the Dollar ReDe$ign Project is soliciting ideas for the dollar bill of the future. "Our great 'rival', the Euro, looks so spanky in comparison it seems the only clear way to revive this global recession is to rebrand and redesign," the project notes on its website.

Fisher started the project in with the intent of "trying to find a catalyst to restart our economy" he told Fox News. The recent competition is now closed, and voting ends on September 30. "This has touched people's hearts," Fisher said, and "people feel the dollar touches their lives."

I personally like this one, the Dowling Duncan vertical dollar.

redesign the $1 bill
i feel that he hasn't done anything that was nationally/internationally changing
 
I really like those new ideas for bills, they are stylish, and its out of the norm for america, Obama promised change so why not change the bills!

Still not sure he deserves a spot on the 1$ bill that we'll be using for a long time. Might want to pick someone that did something that had way more impact. Or don't have a person on it at all, like the 5-50 dollars.

I'm not so sure about the image on the 5 either. Doesn't have the same feeling as the others.
 
I completely agree with the idea to redesign the $1. I do agree with the $100 because that man make a significant impact back in his day. I really think that we need to keep it president based tho. I mean our presidents from the past are what have helped to shape America to what it is right now.

Well, I'm just saying , how he said it made him sound like he did nothing but bad. I still think we should have George Bush on the $1 anyways. 1st president=the bill you have the most of.

They are too colorful in my opinion, I liked it when it was green only.

You're missing the point. Normal people give and take money vertically, if someone sorted and then handed me money horizontally I would think something was wrong with them.

i would suggest having the the native american theme on the 1
cuz ya know
they were here first lol
