Since about 2 weeks ago, my computer has been freezing during the startup.

It might be the copy of Windows that I am using? Not sure.
Please give me your thoughts.

check and make sure your CPU cooling fan is operating --- the freezeing may be due to an over-temp of the CPU. Probably not a bad idea to check all the case fans aswell. And, if you havent cleaned out your case in awhile, this may be a good time to do so.

No, it's not. My brother built the computer, so I wouldnt know if it's overclocked.

This should be in Tech Help. Mod please move?

A fresh install should help, but if it doesn't, do virus scans. I recommend getting Malwarebytes, then running that in safe mode (Hold F8 at start up, then go into Safe Mode, networking or command prompt aren't needed)

I was playing CS:S and my computer froze randomly. After that happend, I shut it down and now it freezes on the startup.

it takes power to run graphics -- feezeing in game can be due to lack of needed power. ie 1 or more rails are failing in the PSU.

No but my computer has been freezing on the start up for about 2 weeks.

A faulty PSU.
Could cause you Computer to freeze....or not even Boot.
It could be a mobo problem...

Also the cooling in your room could also be an issue.
As your computer could be over heating..

What powersupply do you have? You'll probably have to crack open the case to find out.
And what motherboard (mobo) do you have? It could be a problem with that, too. (If you don't know, get Speccy, and post a screen shot of it. Make sure the text is easily readable.)
Or it might even be faulty BIOS. You'd have to reset the CMOS battery (which is really easy, actually).

Do you get a blue screen after it freeze?

It looks like this:

It looks like this:

I think every Windows user knows what a blue screen looks like.
On a side note, did Windows or the users name it Blue Screen of Death? lol

BSOD aren't that common on newer versions of Windows. I wouldn't be surprised if he never seen one before. And for the origin of the name, i found a little article from wikipedia.

The term Blue Screen of Death originated during development of the OS/2 operating system at Lattice Inc, the makers of an early Windows and OS/2 compiler.[citation needed] Developers encountered the Stop screen when bugs in the operating system's software (typically null pointers) slipped through the net during beta testing. In feedback to IBM, a company known informally as 'Big Blue', the developers humorously described the Stop screen as the 'Blue Screen of Death' in consequence of its colour, of the association of that colour with IBM, and of the finality of the error (which caused the computer to hang without any possibility of recovery, compelling a manual restart)

I hope you dont mind if i cut in, im rather new. When it freezes. Does it beep when you try to turn it back on? If it beeps, please tell me how many times it beeps and verify short and long beeps if at all possible but not required.
