[I SURVIVED LONDON BLITZ]

What is happenning to our Dod server's, I have been playing Avalanche lately as Kalt is either empty or doe's not come up. At the same time Avalanchhe has crashed so many times that it is becoming discouraging for our pub's to play here, yesterday (my time) we had a full server and a good fight when Avalanche went down and did not come up again. I fear that we will lose the interest of all dod player's at this rate. :O

BUT I know that Kalt's problems are not caused by network outages or server issues, they are caused by Anzio. Kalt is now ranked SLIGHTLY above -- wait for it -- the Events server.

And so Anzio was born at the expense of Kalt. And Argentan shall be born at the expense of...? Don't let it be at the expense of anything. Balance your play, that's the key lesson I've learned from seeing my home server decimated in the span of two months. Spread out the love and make the transition easily and not drastically.

I don't know what's happening to Avalanche, just that they're trying to fix it.

I am sure they are working on Avalance. The server I am worried about now is Donner. It wasn't hit as hard as kalt, but it's hurting and Argentan may cause more problems for it. Like Ron said, spread the love.

Me and london were playing Avalanche before it went down and never came back up.. That was around 2 AM eastern US time. Been down for about 16-17 hours now.. Really upset to load up DoD:s today around 4PM and and see it is still down..

I saw this coming though. after weeks of terrible lag spikes and crashing then booting back up, I just totally saw this coming.

yea soon Flash,donnor,strand,AVA and the sniper server will no longer be only anzio and argentan plus the event server. Thats all it is right now....

Sorry to be all negative. But in My own Humble opinion I feel we have too many servers for what we can handle at the moment. Just my two cents worth.

have to say i agree with you, especially since i didnt see anyone actually come out and say they wanted an argentan server, it wasnt exactly successful in the trials ( after the first day of the trial it was very rare to see more than 12 people on it ). IMO most people want a custom map rotation server of some sort... but from what i hear theres no chance of that even being tested.

saying all this, im sure their just testing the success of argentan since kalt has been so empty lately, but i know there are many loyal kalt players that this will surely upset

sounds like a forum a heard of just about a week ago.... Seems like alot of our servers have been on the empty side.

I understand what you guys are getting at with number of servers versus number of players, I just think we should see how it goes for a bit. Remember online games have a cycle, it's been like this as long as I can remember.

Worst time for online gamers on the whole is beginning and end of summer, things have always and will again pickup as the year rolls on.

As for losing the 24 hour maps we love, it happens and I am sure we will see them again at some point, the problem is we need to find something new to attract more bodies. I am sure at some point my beloved Donner will be switched up, but hey just gives us a chance to learn a new map. It can only make us better players, and allow us to meet new gamers.

Guilty ,
i found the eGO anzio server one dark, lonely night bout 3 moths ago so i'm partial to that server.Plus, i'm getting to know my fellow clan members and regs that frequent the anzio server,thus,i'm comfy there and it's a killer map.

I do play Ava,Flash and Kalt once in a while but 85-90% of my server time(so far) is spent on Anzio.:blush:

I will make a effort to help populate the less active server when i jump on and i will be asking people to join me.
