To all the people that can not read

It never ceases to amaze me how Valve can capitalize on TF2. I mean, Pre-ordering other games for hats is just a blip on the screen, now. But anyway, who can blame them.

I don't really care for the advantages that you basically do have to pay for if you want them. I mean, seriously, the chances haven't increased to find random *good* drops, so the whole "option" thing isn't really a pro in my mind.

However, with all of that said, I am glad we have trading. Oh wait, that's screwed too! :P

I am full of (Vintage) Sandvich, and I am coming for you!

whenever anyone talks about their vintage sandviches, it makes me think they're moldy.

the only thing that rly bugs me is the new pyro flamethrower. 65% faster and only 25% less damage.

Wow, they really went down this road? I am disappoint.
Oh well, I guess I'll just play vanilla tf2.

valve has not betrayed us calm down -_-

there's a guy here who can't read... he occasionally posts bounties for blackmesa players and has a sig claiming his the greatest person in the world and that we would all be pieces of meat with eyes without his greatness

unfortunately I think this member has left for "university" - hopefully they teach him how to read while he's there.

No, I'm still here.

I'm torn over this...though you can still obtain the items normally, it seems like a pain in the ass to those people who don't have tons of money to waste on in-game items. However, it helps people with no skill to get SOME items at least...there's my two cents.

I got a new weapon in both of my random drops today. Very lucky? Probably, but it is possible.

Companies can't try to make money?

I might appreciate your stand if I could understand it. Could you explain?

Why yes, yes I can.

I'm not worried about the companies fiances, I only care about my experience with the game. Adding items that cost money and give an advantage over players that can't afford these items bugs me. I know, I know...We can craft them, we can randomly find them. But that takes time, and some of us don't have that.

That may sound selfish, but whatever. I don't think it's all that game breaking, idk it just irks me.

Considering the sheet amount of money Valve makes off their games and steam, you'd think they would at least make the items cost less.

Valve gets a cut of the profit off every game sold on steam, and that's a lot.

The games I've seen that use micro transactions are free games, which they use the micro transactions to make money.

The only thing i think is wrong are the prices but buying i see no problem with especially since they made major releases to the game and never charged a dime if some people are willing to give them money to obtain free items faster then w/e they deserve to make a little more money on a game thats as old as it is and still highly popular

But its also called voting with your dollar point is if people DON'T BUY IT they will lower there prices until the general public deems them appropriate and they sell, but peopel are also dumb and are like "SURE i'LL SPEND 120 BUCKS ON POINTLESS ITEMS CUS IM STUPI AND HAZ MONEY" enough people do this prices stay

Someone already sent valve an email, they said it was more of a experiment to see what people would pay. Apparently thousands of people have already payed for the 50$ pack of items..

Doesn't look like it's going to change.

You guys are forgetting about the players that made the weapons in the polycount update. They get a cut of the profits made from their weapons. Maybe valve has the prices jacked up so high that way the creators can get a decent amount from their weapons. You guys fail to see the full idea here.
