Well, I recently reinstalled Windows 7 on my PC. I was updating my drivers and I came across AMD OverDrive. I decided it would be handy to get more performance in Call of Duty.

I overclocked my GPU by 130mhz. I added 100 mhz to my sideport as well.

I have 2 sorta low power fans... they seem to be keeping it around 30c/50c though.

Is this safe? It's stable and don't get artifacts. Just not sure if I might overheat or not. It's 30c CPU 50c GPU on basic use, not under load. I'll check under load sometime tomorrow.

Here's a pic:

Idle temps = useless. We need to know load temps.
But I would highly recommend staying the eff away from OD. I can help you OC, if you want to OC.

Also, those temps are useless unless we know what you're running. Lol

Running as in specs?

Being lazy so found a link instead of typing it myself.

Has pretty much all the info HP would give you, plus a bit more.

OverDrive seems to be working fine for me ;x.

Needed the extra boost for mw2. Can't stand the random lag spikes when my cap was 60 fps on rust (smallest map on mw2 >.>)

I hit the cap of 90 fps (game's limit) on derail now. O_o

Oh. You're running onboard graphics. Well, either get a new GPU, or just suffer.
Also, for overclocking the GPU, I'd recommend MSI Afterburner over all other programs.

Seems to be working fine for me. I'll play mw2 a bit and check my temps if I can get everest to open the sensors section properly :s

but, I can't really afford anything right now. So can't get a new GPU.
