WORD. Does ANYONE know of any Techno/electronica/Dance stations in the NEW YORK CITY METRO AREA? I live basically on the middle of Long Island.. So my local very popular stations are HOT97, 106.1 BLI, and Z100

ANYONE? I don't ever listen to the radio because it sucks and all you hear is the same "main stream" songs over and over.. Except on hot97 after 11 or 12. Then they play some good old school hip hop/rap

[Sexy Beast]

To my knowledge there aren't any radio stations in South Florida that have techno/electronic music on. Well, I haven't come across on yet.

Oh, and I live in Boca too.

[SuperSillyGecko]

thanks for all the suggestions.

It's called Eurobeat, not Techno/trance.
It's its own genre.

Wouldn't that make it European? I still call it trance which is also a genre.

The genre is Eurobeat, doesn't mean it has to be European, it just started there.

[Nightmare490]

ok well I still think its trance

You fellas looking for electronica genre type stations would do best to get satellite radio, or an mp3 player & equipment to use it with your car stereo.

One of the best things about mixing your own tunes is being able to listen to music you create in your car, seriously woos the ladies too.
