It's a bit harder than you would think, I tried:

  1. Forums
  2. Steam Community
  3. In-Game
  4. Friends

Any tips? thanks :thumbup1:

Although it may seem the easiest way, just asking "Anyone interested in joining eGO?" doesn't always work. Some players are interested, they just don't know it yet. While your playing make sure to look out for prime examples of what eGO is looking for in members. If you find someone you think would be a good member, add them to your friends list. Getting them to sign up takes patience, and they'll probably have some questions for you about what we do. I always looked out for pubbers who would follow rules, remind others of them, and didn't mind switching teams. I enjoy people with a good sense of humor, and I always compliment good work when I see it. eg. Nice nade, shot, etc.

I know what you mean, It took me 30 mins to get one done. lol

It's worth it though, It should be easier once I get use to it.

Bole, the first 1 is always the hardest to do, once past that it goes easy :)

and When eGO Blindy comes back he has over 300 i believe recruits, so learn from the master, haha

I find the best technique is to befriend a regular to our servers. Like Skipper said compliments are always great, then adding them as friends and building a small relationship. After a while say a week or so I ask them if they are interested.
I find this way they are more receptive to the proposal. rather than asking the whole server if some1 is interested.:thumbup1:

Finding a regular on the servers like Kiwi said above is great, but another method is to hook them in by saying "You are invited to join eGO". This generally works due to it being personal to them and psychologically to decline would be an insult.

Yes this is true but also i find it that when i joined eGO i didn't have anyone that i really hung out with i mean yeah i find friends like butch, Or wait he is more like a lover, Anyways. Its good to build a relationship with your recruits that way they dont feel left out and feel part of a team sort of speak. Thats how i would want to be welcomed in at least.

Thanks for the tips, too bad I can't use them, my pc isn't working :(

Just talk with people on the server and then after awhile tell them they should sign up sometime.

Ah that's nice, thanks ki11zjoy!

What I basically do/did (B4 my pc stopped working)

I go on spectate mod, and add the people that I think are good players and respect the rules, I then suggest nicely if they wanted to join :)

Hello,
Recruiting isn't hard as it seems to be. You just have to approach the right people who follow our rules, respect other members and those players who would be an absolute great addition to our community. It took me a while to get used to recruiting but I've recruited over 300 players (not trying to brag) and I have seen many get promoted to eG's and eGO's. You have to have patience because that's they key thing. If you rush a recruit, they'll rather delete you or tell you they're not interested. Try not to be pushy and give the recruits some time to decide. I've had a couple recruits who have taken a month to decide but I answered all their questions. Just, keep up the good work, and have patience.

aye and perseverance helps as well. I was asked to join eGO for almost 4 years now. here and there and i had nothing against the guys asking me. many are on e my friends list. Im not that big into average clans out there. most are immature and gave clans a bad name. so much so that ive only been in 3 in the last 15 years of playing steam type games. one of those i started and ended after a few years and another was eGO. So many might have a bad taste in their mouth. Just show how awesome eGO is by setting an example. I rolled with Skippy for a few weeks before he popped the question and i accepted. my parents were so happy. LOL jk.

anyways just be awesome and have patience. eGO sets the example by being the example. imagine that you are not looking for numbers bro. But looking to expand your friends list in game. that's what won me over and im sure many more out there.

So many people say no, tho

I find that annoying.. I keep looking for perfect players, then they say, "sorry, I'm good".

:(
