The 90 degree thing started just to say turn right, there was no focus on what the actual degree you are facing, it was just in addition to saying turn right, because some ts would spin in circles saying "i'm turning right". By no means was it suppose to be a measurement of how much to turn, it was just to say turn right and stop after doing so. However, I do understand how some wardens take it too seriously and say things like turn x amount degrees... which is where it starts to be confusing especially when they either forget what they said (like in silly's case) or say something like 222 degrees to the right. I say 90 degrees just to make it clear that I want you to turn and to face the direction to the right. I don't think its confusing nor do I kill people who are "not right enough."
As for people who don't know "angles" honestly I would say and KuNai would agree, or at least lol, Personal Problem. If you are old enough to play this game, (which legally at least in the US you need to be 17+ to even buy it) you should know angles. The youngest players I have seen are usually 10 years of age, which in the US is about 4th-5th grade. I don't know about you but I learned about angles (at least 90, 180, etc.) in 3rd grade, and that is in the US (25th ranked in education), internationally I'm sure it is learned younger. I think it is reasonable to consider 90 degree increments of angles to be "common sense".
I however did vote no on this poll, as I think the game is getting away of its goal, to be fun. Ts don't like staring at walls and playing trivia, or dying at tasks that are only luck and not skill (like live or die, couch game, etc.) . I personally think all those games should be banned and we should stick to games that require the ts to actually do something, like we did before couch game, and before trivia. Stuff like Climb, and races, and soccer games, etc.
As for this:
So what if a person new to jail comes to the server and doesn't understand the rules of jail completely. They die in the beginning because they didn't turn a certain way, wait 7 minutes to play, only to get killed again, so they leave the server. Bam. We just lost a potential regular player or even an eGO member.
Most people would say Personal Problem, or they should know the rules or whatever, but our rules are soo hard to get compared to other servers. The jail server really, at least in terms of the rules, caters to eGO members. I can't imagine being a pub and trying to decipher what people say about what rules are what (which is ushually wrong by admins and members alike). Or they could try and see the rules themselves but then again they have to decipher our forums and find the rules which to a pub would be near impossible, not to mention the fact that there are so many "unwritten rules" some of which are true some of which are not. Like today I heard the rule "unproductive LRS can only be 30s long", says who? Where is this written, not on the rules thread. The rules for jail are such a mess despite the multiple attempts by leadership to standard it. Honestly there needs to be a rule that says "there are no unwritten rules, if its not listed here its not a rule", it should be added to the rules. Which is another problem the rules haven't been updated in months. At the very LEAST the rules should be able to be accessed from the server on an MOTD or something, not only on this site. W/e I'm done, thats my 2 cents take in what you want, argue with me about what you don't, but I will win lol (I was my High Schools Debate team leader, and won all the way up to states) so I will win.
