Axis & Allies (Board Game)

UPDATE...

Perhaps in response to the suddenly reinvigorated German tidal wave, the United Kingdom took a very conservative and defensive approach, calling for a temporary halt of all offensives and adopting a new "wait and see" approach.

Meanwhile...

On the other side of the spectrum, Japan felt a renewed vigor of their own and lashed out in all directions--though perhaps a bit too hastily. The offensives on China and Australia were near-complete disasters and the only good news for the Land of the Rising Sun was a series of successful bombings in India.

How will the United States (and the Allies in general) respond to these attacks?

By tearing up Japan and its weak defenses. Thats how America responds.

UPDATE...

The sleeping giant has been awaken.

First on the list for USA was to take back Midway. Though a territory worth nothing economically, it meant something to the US and that was the first course of action, and a rather easy one at that. Then, next on the list was an aggressive drive across the Pacific to Japan itself, which currently lays under siege by the US Navy--cut off from the rest of the Japanese Empire.

UPDATE...

In response to the new German threat, Russia scrambled to secure the defenses of her capital while simultaneously launching a new offensive against Japan in the East (and a major one at that).

Meanwhile...

Not satisfied with their recent explosion of action, Germany continued their aggressive plan of attack, expanding ever further in Europe and continuing their fight in Africa.

They also addressed the threat of the assembling British navy, striking with their own ships (with support by the mighty Luftwaffe).

UPDATE...

Shocked by the sudden change in international events, the United Kingdom scrambled their military assets, working to restructure them to bolster current defenses and prepare for future attacks.

Meanwhile...

Unhappy with the seige of the Japanese mainland, Emperor SmileyJoker commanded a return home of the Southern Fleet. Their sudden emergence caught the United States forces by surprise and they were easily dispatched.

Meanwhile...

American forces in China, after a promise to the Chinese to do such, reclaimed the Kwangtung region of China. There were many swelling rumors of movement in the Pacific, but none that could be confirmed as legitimate.

UPDATE...

Russia, angry over the loss of Karelia, launched a major counteroffensive to take the regions back. Their pride over a successful attack did not last long however, as they saw...

Meanwhile...

Germany, by all appearances, had all of their forces on the front lines, ready to pounce on Mother Russia at the next available opportunity. What Russia soon learned, upon taking Karelia, was that this wasn't necessarily the case.

With their extensive reserve tank divisions, Germany rolled into Russia through the Caucasus, easily seizing the capital, and collapsing the Russian economy. Germany also had enough forces to defeat the remaining forces of Karelia as well.

Russia falls!

UPDATE...

Britain finally went on the offensive, removing all remaining German forces in Africa and all Japanese forces on mainland Asia.

Russia responds, "Dude...where have you been up to this point?!"
