Benchmarking Thread!

I bet I could wreck shop with my CF6850s now ;). Just can't run benches until I get back from vacation.

My drive is SATA III so I use those over SATA II. I feel like if you DO NOT install the marvell drivers but use defualt microsoft ones on the marvell controller you will get stability and speed. There drivers REALLY suck. But they seem to be the only people making chips at the moment (integrated)

Mouse: Cyborg/Seitek R.A.T. 9 or 7 or the Logitech G700

Optical: Lite-On Blue Ray Burner with lightscribe

UPS: Tripp-Lite Smart 2200RM2U - 1920 watts battery backup so if the power goes out, I can get a few more minutes of gaming before I safely shut my system down.

Liquid Cooling system will be the Koolance ERM-2K3U Copper external system. Its around a $1,300.00 liquid cooling system and designed for cooling 4 servers. I've been using Koolance liquid cooling solutions for over 6 years now and very pleases with there performance and reliability. There liquid cooling systems are more geared towards the server and super computer cooling but are also in the gaming liquid cooling world too for benchmarkers and overclockers. I would love to use liquid nitrogen, but its too expensive to use for continuous gaming that exceeds 4+ hours and can be dangerous to your health and computer if used improperly.

I will be liquid cooling and overclocking my cpu to a stable 5 to 5.2ghz and overclocking my video cards to around 900+mhz. I might even liquid my ram since I will be pushing them to the 2166mhz levels.

Theres other stuff I didn't mention that I'm adding to this build like lights, sound dampening materials and other drive peripherals and software.

I'm just waiting for the newer board release before I start building.

That looks like an awesome rig. It will be interesting to see the z68 boards coming out in the next month or so. I am assuming most will be p67 clones with the new stuff added in.
 
yea, we are still trying to figure it out. Haven't quite decided what we want to do yet.
 
I spent all day running Aquamark 3. Pretty fun. Other than the x64 patch and the direct....dll it is pretty easy
 
That's what happens when people don't run the benches because there's the guy with a lot better hardware.

We'd have to have brackets or something.

EDIT: Oh, I see what you mean. I forgot to drag the runner into the picture too. I can recapture it if you'd like.

First run was under stock 840/1280 clocks. I forgot to OC before I ran the bench XD

My rig just in case someone asks. (Important bits)
