Skullcandy Lowrider, sweet sound for a good price.

theyre good for the price??

long time ago i got some in ear from skullcandy but they were cheap and not that great, broke in a few months.

I have beats tour and beats studio now :) they sound good but theyre definitely not the best or even the best for the price but im satisfied since im not a huge audiophile.

Hope u have fun with ur lowriders ;)

I got these a few months ago. Picked em up for $60. I love them. So much bass. :D
E/ Also, something that makes this headphones kills others for me is the comfort. I can wear these for literally hours, and not even notice. Amazing.

I might consider getting those for Christmas this year, Phobus. These ones were a birthday present, and I find them much more comfortable then my previous 5 pairs of headphones. And yes I took some sound tests and I found the quality much more clearer.

Is Skullcandy known for good bass? I'm curious because the tech store they have on campus here sells a lot of Skullcandy stuff, but I didn't know if they had actually scored a good deal or if they're trash. Been thinking about getting some new ear buds for my iPod and I need lots of bass.

It depends.....i guess some of them have a lot of bass. I can personally tell you that the Beat Tour's have some of the craziest bass for in ear headphones but they are priced too high for the performance it gives.

Skullcandy are okay, they aren't that expensive and are decent depending on what headphones you get, they won't be amazing though and aren't for audiophiles or anyone expecting some amazing sounding headphones.

it isn't 100% BEST headphones but for its price even if it does have some faults makes it up in first of all, ability to have a comfortable mic for all consoles, and then the sound quality is (in my opinion) the best sound quality i've heard of before.

from everything ive heard and tried skullcandy are just trash. instead get some of sennheiser orpheus

I've been out of the desktop peripherals loop for so long I don't know what's good any more! My last pair of headphones were Steel Siberias, about a week after Icemat stopped selling them. They have done me justice over the last 3 years but for the last 6 months they've been having weird static issues and the sound is either uneven or entirely monotone with no directional sound so everything just sounds like one big .wav, which is irritating as hell in games and whatnot. Looking to pick up some new ones for Christmas as well. The Fatal1ty set seems to be a real pleaser among owners and has exactly what I'm looking for: good for gaming and music with a good, deep bass. Phobus's SkullCandy phones look pretty sweet as well. I haven't considered that brand but I think I will now!
