Thanks for the tips, i've gotten somewhat better just long range stuff i suck at. I've been playing on dust alot till it crashed then went to highschool for a bit.
Had no clue you could play with bots( yea i am that clueless of the game) since i've never really heard about this game till i joined here

I suppose you could argue bots are good target practice, but it just seems like a waste of time really seeing as CS:S isn't really stats based, you can play on servers with people just as bad if not worse than bots anyway
Haha yeah, but you go onto those servers and always find someone that's like a high ranked pro gamer killing everybody. xP
Oh, and to play with bots, go to the Create A Server option on the title menu. You can choose how many bots n' stuff, + their difficulty.

Like others have said, short burst I prefer 3-6 shots. Get your aim back then go again. If really close, spray and shoot the dead body. And one last thing, make sure you remember you are fighting the enemy and not the wall behind them. I know thee wall may be pretty and all but it isn't a threat at this time. One more thing, rushing can be good if done correctly. Take the game of chess for example (NO ONE TALK ABOUT THIS I AM DEAD ON), a very interesting strategy, but an also very effective one if mastered, is let the king lead. Now think of it this way, if the king doesn't lead his men into the fight, who will? Now put your place in the spot of the king, tell your team to rush in after you, and if they notice you follow your word and not try to trick them to their death, they will follow you, the king, as you lead them into battle. Chess FTW!
