recruiters, hats off to youse, great job, but dont take this wrong. where are all these new guys playing. i dont see our servers with players. just throwing it out there

This is true to a point.

But I have noticed our servers DO have more "e's". I remember not so long ago it was hard to find any "e's" on the servers AT ALL. So I believe there has been an increase of new members on our servers.

Also I remember when I first joined eGO, I didn't really know what I was getting myself into (DoD is my first on-line game). I didn't even know what a clan was. It was only the kindness of admins which kept me playing. I didn't know the admins, it was them being friendly to me, not the other way around. We cannot sit back and expect every recruit to know everyone and get involved right away. WE must make them feel welcome, not get all grumpy that they do not enter the server with a friendly "hi" or that they do not switch to even to teams. We need to gently encourge them to do everything we expect from an activ emember

Oh, Goomba knows how to keep guys coming back to the servers, with catch phrases such as "Oh Baby!" and "Thanks for flying eGO!", or "Welcome. Add us to your favorites."

Plus who doesnt love that New York accent?

just take a look at the server rankings on gametracker. Nearly all of our server rankings have gone way up in the past several weeks.

All other servers have gone up, especially anzio. Actually, at the beginning of November, Anzio was in the top 35.

The recruiting is making a difference. It might be hard to see for some, but think of where we might be now had we not been recruiting well during the past two months.

I tend to agree I do see quite a few "e"s on...but i feel like i just see more *ego* people on in general. Seems like every server i got to has at least 1 admin and 1 e. Which is a good thing. =)

Since Kalt closed I have noticed a lack of a lot of players on our server's specially players like Goomba, Sarge etc, and a large number of pubs, I suppose they are playing other games. Shame really I miss them all.

Anyways, recruiting is one thing, recruiting members who will make a push for the servers is another. When you get these active e's they get ranked up quickly which is why the absence of active e's.

the majority of our players, I would say a good 80 percent are living in the US or Canada. I know you play early in the morning a lot and people generally are sleeping or getting ready for work, etc during that time.

Not to mention once people go to bed, its tough to start a server with a couple people in it. People do not usually get on a server with 3 people on it. I think if more of us seed the servers at night we can shrink this problem. I don't think the problem lies in the numbers we recruit.

You also need to keep in mind, goomba, that a lot of usual players will be either studying for or taking exams last week, this week, and the following week. At least for the US, Canada, and Most of Europe.

Hmm i do not know what is worse People Seeding the crap out of servers or they seed so much they turn into trees.
