Turbine! ;[

[Slaazz]

Will it ever be coming back? that was my second home haha

It just needs a little help from some nice eGO members to help it to fill!

Dustbowl has been on for quite a while now and seems to be pretty empty most of the time, can you try turbine on there for a while pretty please?

What do other people think?

[Thereven]

I tracked down Mr. Heavy Weapons Guy to hear what he has to say about this...

[Me] So, what do you think about turbine and dustbowl?
[Heavy] Entire servers are babies!

[Me] But some people really like these servers.
[Heavy] Some people think they like dustbowl and turbine. Maybe, maybe... I've yet to meet one that likes it better than Blackmesa.

[Me] What about allegations that it wouldn't cost much to run another turbine server for those misguided people that actually like it?
[Heavy] It costs four hundred thousand dollars to run a turbine server for twelve seconds.

[Me] So what you're saying is if people donated more money to EdgeGamers, then we'd have more money to run servers? What a great plan!
[Heavy] I have plan for you: more pain.
[Me] Ow ow ow oooow!
[Heavy] I am not done with you yet! Pow! Haha!
[Me] *dies*
[Heavy] What sick man sends babies to interview me?

[Kevimaster]

Basically the server was taken down because it was constantly empty (more so than Dustbowl or 2Fort Reg). We tried many things to help it, including events, bounties, and drives on it. It just didn't seem to work. In the future we may consider bringing back 24/7 Turbine, but for now we will not be having one.

As for Dustbowl being empty most of the time, it has not gone unnoticed. Thats all I'll say to that for now.

Thanks, you can PM me or create a post in the drop box if you have any other questions are concerns about this

Happy Fragging!
