Mac user need help

[Kairos]

Hi guys, i'm fairly new.
I'm using a mac for source and i can't seem to change my name via console.
Is there any way i can fix this?

[Mayhem Death]

You change it via Steam.

1) Either go to friends when out of game or shift+tab while in game.
2) Go to the arrow next to your name and go to Change Friends Name.
3) Change the name to whatever you want.
4) Press OK.

Then it should change your name.

I'm on PC and I never use console to change my name.

Don't even know how xD/

Console = BAD

I use a mac from time to time actually. When you open the steam in-game open the friend list. From there you should see yourself at the top. click the arrow and go to settings and you should see the option. Hopefully this helped.

i didn't even know that you could through console... so look up at mega's his helps the most ^^^^

[hate]

you used to be able to change via console... now you are unable to do so anymore with the addition of the "clan" section. Only way to change is via the friends list/steam shop.

Thanks. you do audio engineering? Do you have rates?

[Mr. Boe Jangles]

PM chat with me. We charge $90 for 6 hour blocks and then $100/song to mix.
