MY name will not change

OK once again i remeber this problem

Here is a brief description

I go in a server i Go to options i change my name to put the " ™ " at end of our tag... its all good Until i exit the program DoD:s

And when i got back into any other server my name Reverts back to its original self


I do remember i had to find some file and change it to "read-only" beofr i change my name but i forgot how to get to it


If there is a forum already up for this problem please direct me to it

Hmm, this is new to me. Possibly a file corrupted it self, as you said, and you simply need to find that file?

It sounds like the game, or steam, isn't storing the change. Possibly an issue beyond my knowledge of Steam. (I haven't opened any of the files, only browsed around once or twice).

the file is in:
steamapps\STEAM NAME\day of defeat source\dod\cfg

the file: config.cfg

its at the bottom of the file and make sure it isnt read only
