So this is my first time trying to setup a headset this nice and complex. I have no idea how to set it up, I can get the audio working using the analog jacks but the microphone does not seem to pick up anything (yes I checked to make sure it wasn't muted :P).
I'm kind of amazed that the manual includes how to set it up for the xbox and ps3 which already seems self explanatory but the manual doesn't even mention the pc. Already tried contacting tech support, who have not responded in a week now of my e-mail and no one picks up on the phone line.
Any guide or direction on how to connect the headset to the computer would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Quoted from the original website themselves:

Steps to perform before connecting Optical:
1. Remove protective caps from optical cable
(SEE DIAGRAM TO RIGHT)
2. Connect AC Adaptors to AX Pro Headset power jack and AX Pro Dolby Digital & Pro Logic Audio Controller jack
3. Plug AC Adaptors into wall outlets
4. Plug AX Pro round 9-pin plug into front of silver AX Pro Dolby Digital & Pro Logic Audio Controller
PROCEED TO INDIVIDUAL XBOX 360, PS3 or PC with Opticlal CONNECTION

and

Connect to PC with Optical:
5. Plug one end of optical cable (H) into the Optical Out” on your
computer, the location may vary but typically it is on the
rear of the computer. (Some sound-cards require additional
hardware to access the digital output, if you cannot fi nd it,
refer to your documentation for that product or contact the
manufacturer.
6. Connect USB Communication cable (I) to a USB port on the
computer and the AX Pro Dolby Digital & Pro Logic Audio
Controller (E)
7. Plug AX Pro round 9-pin plug into front of silver AX Pro Dolby
Digital & Pro Logic Audio Controller (E)
8. Within the confi guration of your computer, you most likely
have to either enable the SPDIF output, or set it as the
default. Please refer to the users manual for how to do this,
as it varies by operating system and hardware make and
model.
9. Set default input to be “C-Media USB Audio Device”, once
again the location of this setting will vary.
10. Set both the input and output of your voice chat application
to use “C-Media USB Audio Device” to utilize separate
voice chat volume control.

and

Connect to PC with Analog:
1. Connect the AC Adaptor (F) to AX Pro Headset (A)
2. Plug AC Adaptor into wall outlet
3. Connect the four analog jacks on the G9 adaptor (J) to
the 4 jacks on your computer (Some sound-cards ask you
to identify what channel you have plugged in, as you plug
them in. If your soundcard does not support this, you may
have to reference the sound card panel on the back of your
computer, or the sound card manual to fi nd out how the jacks
should be confi gured)
4. Confi gure your computer in Control Panel (PC), or System
Preferences (Mac) so that the audio output is 5.1
5. Depending upon your computer software confi gurations, you
may need to make adjustments before the mic will function.

Link to AX Pro Manual.

So, following these steps exactly, your microphone still does not work?

Thanks for directing me to the guide, didn't think of going there since I already had the manual that came with the headset.
