How does the admin rights actually work? Is it something you will get in time or an admin application/test you can take to become an admin? I am sure you have it posted somewhere I am just missing it.

Skill level has nothing to do with promotions. EdgeGamers promotes on the basis of a member's maturity. We would rather have someone who can barely play, is a lot of fun, and carries with them a sense of integrity, than someone who is PWNTASTIC and acts immaturely.

Getting promoted to =(eG)=™, =(eGO)=™ or Leadership has nothing to do with your time in the community. It is the effort you put into the servers and the contributions you make to the clan that are factored into all promotions.

Other aspects we look at include:

1. Your playing time in the servers and love of the game.

2. Your maturity and ability to make the correct decisions in the servers. (Are you ready to switch sides when needed, or do you instead just say, "TEAMS"?)

3. Your forum activity - Do you contribute to the clan outside of playing the game? (Some members are promoted only on server time and not on forum activity. People are rarely promoted based on forum activity alone.)

4. Location - We might promote members who live in time zones outside of the USA quicker since we need admin coverage during all hours.

5. Donations and Dedicated Supporter status do not guarantee a promotion, but they do get you noticed.

Leadership is always watching to see who is ready, but the best way NOT to get promoted is by ASKING FOR A PROMOTION. Just play and have fun.

Ok well I did read that and I took that as promotions and not just admin. Admin being a factor for promotions along with other attributes. I noticed admin school ribbons and I thought it was something you took if requested is all.

Admin school is something you request and take once your an admin to better yourself and the way you you carry your powers in-game.

No need to kick someone in the head... we all start from somewhere... i remembers asking the same questions a while ago, the good thing is your getting answers that can now empower you to greatness! Just be active and stay in vent and post every now and again, show everyone you know our rules, but dont admin servers. Again ill tell you the bottom line, just play and have fun!

Anyone who joins Ego to gain admin is one of 2 things: 1.A man who loves the servers and wishes to keep them as mature as possible by keeping Punks/Trolls out...or 2. a power hungry man whos only goal is to become admin JUST to be able to have power over others...In the other clans i was in (CC, Damn) most if not all admins were total power drunk morons who would completely abuse their power to their own selfish reasons...the reason i joined eGO is because i noticed 1. a maturity level above all other servers i have been on. and 2. the admins were mature and nice and really cared about how everyone elses' game experience was going...thats why i joined...i wanted to eventually gain the opportunity to become apart of the elite that keep these servers as awesome as they can possibly be.
