Looking for new laptop.

Hey guys, I'm going to buy a new laptop because I broke my old one. My budget is around 800 dollars. The computer should be able to run CSS. I have found one so far I consider buying.

The pc is called: Acer Aspire 5742G

If you have any suggestions to what I should buy, or any tips, please leave a comment
Since I already have a desktop computer, I dont need no gaming laptop.

Awesome, what will the laptop you're looking at have? I just read two different specs for the same model, so I'm hoping you can provide that to us.

P.S. One model had the 420M, the other 540M.

Hi there;

Would you consider refurbished/used laptops. Though 800 dollars is quite a sum of money for a laptop, you will only be to get a mid range laptop for that amount of money.

This is a refurbished ASUS G60VX which has a GTX260M (equivalent to a desktop 9800GT) probably the best deal you are going to find for a sub 800 dollar gaming laptop. The processor can be upgraded very easily later on in life, SSD upgraded and the video card can be upgraded later on (ASUS use their own form of MXM). Don't let the refurbished title scare you away from it. Most refurbished stuff actually haven't really been used. Many people buy laptops and don't like it and just return it. Then you get a good deal on a laptop.

He is going for the 420M.It costs 1000 $ on a Norwegian site called "www.komplett.no", and we haven't found anything with comparable specs at the same price from stores in Norway.
