It's not weird or unusual it's something that is bound to happen every one hundred years. All this is, is a cycle that has reached the end and will begin another cycle.

To further rain on this parade from what Ramp said, that math only applies to people born before the new millennium because it only uses the last 2 digits. The only reason to use those digits is to make it sound more complicated than it is, as that way it doesn't directly say the year.

It's no big surprise that the year you were born plus your age equals the current year
