So I'm looking for a regular computer, not a gaming computer, unless it can fit my budget. Budget: under 300$ and just be a good computer

do you need an OS? if so, then it will be very difficult, if not, then i will have something made up in a sec

I don't think he's wanting to build. I think he just wants a cheapo office/browsing computer.

then there is nothing worth buying for $300.

sorry

EDIT: you could look at used stuff if you are comfortable with that

There is computers in the $300 range. They're not good by any means, but they exist.

i would highly suggest waiting & saving up more $$. walmart has some decent deals on dell desktop systems. they come fully loaded from $450-500. just learn 2 be patient on that. myself im workin on upgradin my cpu, memory & motherboard.

if all you want to do is browse the internet and such then just get a notepad

with a desktop you're looking at all the accessories too, monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers, these things make a viable 300 buck computer pretty out of reach

if you are willing to build, $300 is more than enough. That will play source games ok, and browse the internet like a boss

still missing a video card, dvd drive, monitor, OS, speakers/headphones, mouse, keyboard, stupid junk like that

video card is integrated

dvd drive is useless

monitor was not noted as needed, and the OP would have to be insane to think that he could get that for 300

mouse/kb just find some $1 at a thrift store

that integrated card would not be able to play like any game. i know he didn't want a gaming computer but just realize that would be the basic of the basics
dvd drive is useless? lol i guess im old school and still buy copies of my games in stores, AKA needing a dvd drive
and ya if you need an OS too then GL - otherwise a good build for cheap. could probably find a better PSU for around the same price, but you could literally spend hours looking around for the best deals on PSUs, so ya

I can play css on medium on my 3100 IGP, so i think the 4250 would do ok.

I really couldn't find a better PSU, unless you want to deal with MIR's
