I am from New Jersey, and since our state basketball team sucks, i like the Knicks, which arent much better... but WE GOT CAREMELLO HA!

Might as well claim the Knicks since the Nets are moving to Brooklyn.

Melo is but a means to an end though, Step 2 of 3. The stank of Isaiah Thomas will only be cleansed if they land CP3 next year...or possibly Deron Williams.

Come on New Jersey, you traded for a superstar with a contract that expires after the CBA is gone but can't sign an extension b/c of the current expiring CBA? You just gonna take it on good faith that you have the means to woo a superstar back to New Jersey, cause I see how well that's worked so far w/ Bron Bron, DWade, Like a Bosh, and Melo, trololol.

All flash.

Melo would be lucky to make half of his shots.

Stoudamire can't defend.

Putting two flawed stars together won't win you a championship. It'll be fantastic for ticket sales though. Very fanta$tic.

It will be fantastic for ticket sales. I don't think anyone's ever questioned can a D'Antoni team fill seats though and they sure as heck aren't going to expect them to defend so that's a wash as well.

There's one thing and one thing only that anyone expects for the "Flying D'Antonis" and that is scoring. From the tip-off to the buzzer, it is going to be one wild ride to see who can out-score the other.

The only question now, besides who will be that 3rd star to join them, is will a prime time D'Antoni team that's full of superstars in the East break through in the postseason where they couldn't in the West? I'd say there's a much better chance of it.

The Knicks have done better than I would have expected them to do, before this trade. Now, if only we can solve some of the Lakers shooting problems, things would return to normal :)

And where was last night's Artest hiding? 8 for 13 and 5 of 6 from downtown? C'mon man, don't tease me like that.

Knicks will get past first round, at most.

I don't think they are not on the level of Boston, Miami, Orlando or (dare I say) Chicago.
