I know everyone is skeptical about homefront, watch this video, just watch the multiplayer PC gameplay. I cannot wait for this game, I hope it does not disappoint.

I am definantly hoping that this doesn't disappoint like some of these types of games have. It looks like it is going to be good.

TBH I probably wont get this unless it gets amazing reviews

To be honest it's probably going to be a great multiplayer game, but I can't get over how bland and generic everything looks. I know this game is trying to focus on its lore and setting, but looking at it just looks so blah.

But it really does sound good.

I am a bit skeptical myself, but I caved in and preordered it, I will be playing it on release and express my opinion. I know this game will be foreshadowed with the release of Crysis 2 and Rift. I believe the game takes from Call of Duty and Battlefield design. Will see *crosses fingers*

It looks good... I'll give it that... but parts of the video looked a little buggy/choppy (not from my end..) The first video I saw all I could think is "Wow, a crappy knock off of Frontlines fuel of War." Now after this video I see that CoD4 and Frontlines just had a baby... I most likely won't get this because if you have played either one of those games you know what I'm talking about... Looks like a complete ripoff of other games...

I am attractdd to homefront because of its backstory. The what if always drags me into games Such as Battlefield where the what if is the russians basically controlling Europe South America Africa And Asia. For this its the Koreans Controlling most of East/Southeast Asia. if you watch the trailer fully you see why this is a Hook/Grab Scenario.

Yup

I am with Zinthius. What really attracts me to a game is its lore or back story. It is sometimes it is hard to play games where you already know what happened (vietnam or WWII). But I really do hope that Homefront is a good game.

Lol quite possibly, but every game is a rip off of another game.

Yes.. but this game is like... to the extreme lol.. like the first time I watched a video of this could seriously not stop thinking about Frontlines: Fuel of War.

Not saying it won't be a good game... but it just seems so unoriginal..

looks to me like a cross between COD and BF. Could be good, though my money's on Crysis 2 for March (literally)

I was really looking into this game when i was still playing on the console soul reason is it was the first dedicated server FPS Ive seen. And as for everyone saying its a knock off. Yea well what if it is. everyone is getting Crysis 2 or what not look at the number 2 thats not a knock off thats a duplicate whats the diff.

I think the first I've ever seen was SOCOM : Confrontation. Although those might be shards and not server servers.

Section 8 uses servers. And the sequel will too. The beta is so fun. Hehe.

Meh, Call of Duty set the standards with iron sights and Modern Warfare just hammered that style of playing into the generation that guys games today.

Adjusting to a different style of playing would be a culture shock and suicide for a company. Take a look at Crysis 2. I played Crysis and it's a pretty fun game, has a nice feel and was fairly enjoyable.

I tried the multiplayer Crysis 2 demo on my Xbox and was thoroughly pissed off. It completely changed to Modern Warfare/Black Ops. That made me angry. They had a nice way of playing the game and caved towards the cash cow.

You can see that Homefront is going that way from the get go, so although that makes me a little sad, I'm not nearly as hurt from a fan's point of view.

If you've ever seen Red Dawn, it's the same guy who did that movie that is behind the story for Homefront. If you haven't...go watch it. Now.
