GG or DM Server?

Curiosity killed the cat, but we have a lot of servers and I've seen talk of opening a new Jail Server, which in my opinion, is just another waste of server space, but -- why aren't there any Gun Game or DeathMatch -- or both, servers?

I rather enjoy fast-paced servers. I love Highschool when there's only about 8v8 or so, because the teams are more cohesive and act accordingly -- as a team.

And after giving the Jail Server about an hour and a half of my time, having been free-killed numerous times and kicked a few times, I've deemed it's way too slow and boring. The time limit is too extensive and CT's just kill without warning or cause, just because...

There needs to be some GG DM going on, in eGO. I'll admin it. <3 I love me some GG DM. n__n;

I dont see how you can get kicked a few times whilst being on a T unless of-course you break server rules, which will happen on any eGO server.

Freekills happen in jail and will always continue to happen one-way or another. Why? Because life isn't perfect, so accidents/mistakes happen. The admins there are always doing their best to reduce those freekills if they're being done by someone who isn't capable of following orders as a CT and/or intentionally freekilling without thinking (shoot first then think = bad)

Best way to avoid being freekilled is just to follow the orders to the LETTER. If they say freeze by 5.05, then do it by 5.07 - be on the safe side. If there's a rebeller stacking on you, unstack and probably stay ducked to avoid cross-fire. Always holster guns, and don't point them at CT's. These are just a few things you can do to avoid being freekilled.

Other than that, I'd love a GunGame server

Your e vs eG can be the exact same event, just used on a GG server. I don't understand what you're trying to get at? The events can merely be edited and reused, or a single-medal for whoever can win the round first or whatever. I don't know. 3 medals for the best-of-3 winners.

At any rate, events come second to just getting a GG/GG DM server up and running.

Regardless - you have TF2 servers. DoDS servers.
Lord knows I love me some Inferno, but the server is rarely full -- save for on rare occasions or some weekends, so cut back on one there, to produce an equal 100tic set elsewhere?

I've admin'ed a lot of servers in the past, as well as Christian servers, and I enjoy eGO because it's not as strict and hypocritical as the Xtian servers like S@v3D or <Fish>< | <CC>< and at the same time, upholds the same rule-set for ignorant players.

Not to mention, as an admin (and leader to a community), you NEVER want to redirect those who would pay money, assist in leadership skills, and all-in-all be a good thing for the community to another server or other places.

Accommodate as best as you can, and merely tell the truth. If eGO isn't ever going to have a GG DM server, then I'll live. But don't ever tell someone to go elsewhere... lol. That's basically telling me, I'm not worth yours or the server's time, and I should find what I want in another local. Bad sales pitch and recruiting tactic.

ive always like the idea, but we have had these servers before, they dont work, heck our events that we have for these types of game play dont always work out.

Answer it didnt work before, the events are not always full now for this game style, so why waste resources on another server that would potentially fail?

This has been brought up and requested a TON of times, and every time the OP is told to take it to the dropbox. I completley agree that having GG DM turbo server would be popular and perfect. GG is my favorite mod, and with the right maps is always full. Of course, this would most likely require our CS:S mappers to mage gg maps and such.
