GG or DM Server?

If eGO had a Deathmatch GunGame server I would be active 100x more. I love highschool, but it does get boring. I never see Inferno full, why not switch that to a DM-GG server? In the 2 (and counting) years I have been here I have not once seen either a DM or a GG server.

Obviously, if the population is eager enough to comment an easy two pages on this, the admins should think about listening. At least run it for a week and see how the difference is between a non-active server and an active one. It couldn't hurt, right?

And Nighthawk -- the immaturity behind saying "u mad" is beyond what I'll really delve into with you. Simply put, if you're casting members away from the site, you're obviously not qualified for administrative purposes.

eGO has tried both Gun Game and Deathmatch and they became unpopular, and closed. Also we have tried at least 2 times to make separate jail servers, and they both ended in the servers remerging again, so I doubt they want to try that again. We even have had small gun game and deathmatch events, 1 night events, and they have failed. Its a good idea, but it's been tried several times and has not worked out, so I doubt it will be acted upon.

And we dont have any of the above anymore because they didnt stay full. There are a lot of non eGO servers in CSS that host what we dont.... We cant please everyone but we aim to please the majority... Its fine if you go play on non eGO servers to play mods / game types we dont have...

Those kind of servers are the type that you'd play for an hour or so and then just ragequit and/or leave. Whilst in jail, you rage quit, relize you have nothing better to do, and you come back!

Maybe we just should have these in events, but more regular, and MAYBE open to the public too ^_^

Zombie didn't work out because it was boring. I don't remember having a DM, GG or Surf server. Granted surf isn't the most popular game type around. But if we combined the GG and DM I would try my hardest to keep the server alive and well, because reg isn't so important in that game type. And for the year I have been playing actively I can tell you that DM-GG servers are getting more and more popular, we could just try it like we are trying Inferno. Why does it get a second chance but not any of the "fun" game types?

here's my two-cents: it never hurts to try something whether it's been tried in the past or it's new. If ya just give up on something, you'll never get it/ or get it working. Perhaps if we got a GG/DM server, what with the community obviously arguing about it over the forums, perhaps now that more recruits, and a longer amount of time eGO having been founded might bring the edge towards eGO's GG/DM server. I LOVE DM, GG's alright, but it don't got awps! honestly though a GG and DM server (both combined) may in fact work, people don't always like DM because it's a dead-end, you go in and kill, no strategy, just rush and kill. but having a mix would be a nice little retreat from regular CSS where you get impatient waiting to respawn after being the first dead in the new round. Fast-paced can be good for new/younger players, or the more experienced. BTW the events aren't always full, maybe because of times, people forgetting, plans, work, and of course non-public plays a roll as well. So i say just try it again, merge the two, and hope for the communities help in filling it.

I don't care if it didn't have the player-base before.. Look now, a lot of us newer members really would like a DM and GG server, why can't it be tried.

The one GG event I went too was full..

we have a gungame event every-other thursday showing some player support to that first would be an excellent first step.
