J-J-J-JAIL POLL: What do you hate about Jail?

I usually play jail around the hours of 7am-3pm est and we usually have an average of 5-15 people playing between 7-1. But sometimes you get wardens that come in and they start to switch it up a little. I think its fine to kill people during the games but what i cant stand is when they kill off half the t's right when the cells open. Then you press tab and see people leave 1 by one. I know that its part of the game and t's should listen but were also trying to keep the server active and we want everyone to have fun. Why kill half the t's before 5:00 unless they attempt to rebel? Let the games kill the t's. Give em a chance. Im done venting, Thanks guys

Good. That's the prime reason of this thread. To vent out your Jail build-up, discuss it among your peers, and avoid taking stress into the servers. Bravo.

Jail may be the biggest waste of time in the world. Its a bunch of men and boys giving each other forceful orders over the internet and following them for "entertainment." Its creepy and moronic. Every fiber of my being despises this mod. We used to be the coolest division in the clan... then Jail server happened.

boom headshot! hahah point and laugh at the guy that wasn't paying attention.
I almost always see this person leave.. and why.. it was pointless amusement to the wardens satisfaction of killing for no reason.

All T's shiftwalking backward out of they're cell and facing ninety degrees to the right should be reserved for a strict day when the inmates have been killing off the guards repeatedly every round, not the normal every round occurrence.

Being freekilled isn't so much a bother to me when its an accident, when I look and see its the ct with 20+ kills and 1 death then I'm not happy and would most likely leave.. alot of the time people that need to be T are on CT, I'm not saying this means you..
hahah the people I'm talking about will never read this thread.

A new map would be awesome, to be honest though I appreciate what we already got, I've tried mapping and whoa that is seriously time consuming & difficult.

Bad mics .... Admin mute them please.. who cares if they get upset and leave better that one annoying person than ten annoyed people by that person..

To sum it up in case you didn't want to read any of that ..

1. warden should be there to have fun, period.
2. people with bad mics should be muted, immediately.
3. mappers are awesome and i love them all.
4. if your upset with the way things are going, instead of leaving join ct and be the cool warden, make the difference.

I'm sorry you're so disconcerted with Jail. But I promise you, as a full time Jail player, I do not follow that criteria, and I'm sure a lot of the Jail population doesn't either.

Jail server happens to be one of our most populated servers. I'm sure the CS:S division benefits from the Jail server, even if we choose not to actively recruit in it. People become curious about what eGO is and find our other servers, see our website, and so forth. I find this statement erratic and ensure you that we are still the coolest division in eGO, personally and lovingly.

I invite you to come play Jail with me on the hours I do.

I say we need new maps. Or old ones. That seems to be issue on server. Same maps overplayed and also I heard from people that things are a bit to strict.

We need some nostalgia, Nostalgia Night would be a cool event. Bring back some of those old maps. Then again, they were removed for a reason, but still.

What is this rage we speak of? I leave jail because I am too successful in my goal of getting myself killed every round. After 3 hours of suicide i get tired and simply log off in happy spirits.

OMG I wrote a whole big post, timed out and it is lost in the ether...

Summary, Jail will get you killed.

I miss: ghosting in Vent. But also people need to get on vent to play jail even if you cant ghost it still makes things much better, big play enhancement here.

Biggest complaint: lack of CT creativity. Feature/game laden makes take a long time to make and will never keep up with demand, learn to play new games, think them up and try them out when you are a CT, there is a huge potential here for fun, rebelling and antics that arent seen in jail these days.
