For all those basketball players. Any pointers/tips on how to dunk? What kind of exercises are good to jump higher?

Im like 6'1 and when I jump my hand is like halfway above rim, so im really close.

5'11 here and i can dunk :p, i did high jump for a bit in middle school, so...

Squats, a lot of them with a lower amount of weight. Like 135 lbs-10 times, and do that for about 4 sets. Once you do one set do step ups onto a box or a chair for about a minute. Then jump onto that box 5 times as fast as you can. Rinse and repeat 4 times.
I can't dunk because I'm like 5'6" and 225, but I know that squats are considered the "master" lift, and you want quick muscles to be able to jump higher so doing more reps and less weight will help make quick muscles and not bulky muscles.

bill starrs 5x5 its a great program. im 5'9 and it took me till i could squat around 315 to dunk but most of my training was box jumps and depth jumps. if you can palm the ball it makes things a lot easier too

All of that, plus lunges with small amount of weight on your shoulders. I was about 6' in the 7th grade and by the 9th grade I was able to get a weak dunk in by doing all those exercises. 11th, 12th grade I was a dunking machine at the parks, they called me white Jordan.
