well you sir have a strong opinion based on ignorance... how do you see its fine? People are starving, People don't have water or power...hundreds of people are dying because of coal plants....many more getting cancer from coal plants and recycling facilities...
Lets expand here. The single largest energy provider is coal factories. Over 20 thousand people have their life spans shorten per year (and thousands dying) directly because of coal plants. Coal plants release , Mercury, Sulfur Dioxide, and of course the fan favorite carbon dioxide.
Nitrogen oxides
Nitrogen oxides is the primary ingredient found in smog. It's also the soot you find when you burn coal. (these are what hurt us people) It also is a large contributer to acid rain. Now acid rain isn't as scary as some kids say it is. It's not going to hurt you (generally) but raising acidicy of streams causes fish to die out or mutate. Fish like to live in a PH of 6-7.2 typically changing this can have dire affects on an ecosystem..not to mention plants need a good ph to grow too...

Mercury
I think we all understand the health affects of mercury or as it comes into our bodies as methlymercury.

Sulfur dioxide
Now for my favorite one. Sulfur dioxide is a leading cause of asthma, bronchitis and other breathing related illnesses, as its particles sink into our lungs it causes major health affects

Carbon Dioxide
well here's your "global warming" factor that you say "isn't real" I'll leave that up for the politicians to decide as that's more of a political debate then anything else
So please don't tell me this is a bad cause. I don't conserve energy and resources because of global warming I do so because I know people die for the energy everyday. People are affected by the coal plants in many towns.. I know that my electricity doesn't cost only money but lives. I care about my community, country, and planet.
