+1 to who ever made the speech

Ideas for the division: We started out as a Division for a mod, we changed to a MOD division why dont we become a Division that tests out new mods and review them. Single player or multi player. We wont be costing money.

This is definitely an ART where you shouldn't listen to it as finalized announcements. Come to the one this Wednesday. We should have more information then.

Thanks for posting this, sorry I keep missing these but I am completely free this Wednesday so i'll be there.

Guys thanks for posting this. A point that was brought up a few times, but this division really hurt itself when we started focusing on more mods than just INS. I wish I had a suggestion but I am not sure what game I would like to see.

To be honest, it wouldn't have mattered if the division had branched out to other MODs or not. People don't want to admit that INS is a dying game and while we succeeded in keeping it alive for quite awhile, the player base is simply not there for the division to bring in recruits on the same level as other games that are supported by eGO. This alone makes it increasingly hard for the MOD/FPSX to justify its existence. The end result would have been the same.

I completely understand this. It still does not make it any easier to deal with. I just hope we find a new identity (game) soon. I am actually really excited about Red O 2.

Timing for us was bad with the release of RO2 but hopefully tripwire did this to release a quality game that is free of bugs. I am tired of game company's setting a release date solely for financial reasons and ignoring the state of the game.

Working for a large tech company in the accounting and finance group I understand why some companies do this and what some of the reasons are behind making such decisions. I can almost promise you that only half the decision is financial. Believe it or not programmers and engineers are like artist. If you leave them to their own devices nothing will ever get completed. Not because they don't do the work but because the always think it can be better and constantly try to figure out how. But for some companies like say EA it really is about the bottom line. They are most definitely a volume supplier and not a quality supplier.
